Hi all, back in FB! I haven't been here 'cause my days have been a bit hectic...

As you might or might not know, I made a political video with Tim Donnelly, candidate for the Republican party for governor of California, and the attacks keep on coming... But Tim is not what many say. He is a man who, after 9/11, wanted to protect his country, not by killing people crossing the borders, also like some have said, but to stop them from entering, and it is understandable. This is a very complex issue, it is neither white nor black, it has many colors. Not only good hard working people cross the Mexican/US border looking for a better life for their families, but terrorists do as well (it is easy for them to enter Mexico), as drug cartels, etc. and those don't come to help but to destroy and make USA another Cuba/Venezuela... and unfortunately, the good ones pay for the sinners...

Tim knows that I want to help those that are good, have no criminal record and are not a burden to the USA, those who are not? Out! Just like the undocumented immigrants who are in prison for serious crimes they've committed, and we, the tax payers, are paying for them, why shouldn't they be returned to their countries?

I want someone to tell me which country in the world welcomes undocumented people, what country? I want someone to tell me if you are going to let anyone inside your home who is going to destroy it, I think that an intelligent person will only welcome those who will do good and contribute. Am I wrong? Is it hard to understand?

Tim is a reasonable and good man, and although we don't agree on everything, he's someone I can talk, he listens, he thinks, and has changed his mind in issues like the Dreamers, where at first he did not wanted the government/US tax payers to pay for college for undocumented immigrants, today he supports it. I think that together we might be able to do some good for everyone, the undocumented immigrants who contribute and are not a burden to the USA, and for the Country, but the bad ones should leave.

What do I like about what Tim is proposing for California? He wants to bring us more work, not only in Hollywood, where most of its productions are filmed in other States or countries because of our state high taxes. He wants to exploit the oil industry, that California having lots purchases it from countries such as Venezuela, which is against the United States, if this all happens, there will be prosperity for the State as well as work for many, then he would like to raise the minimum wage from 7/10 dollars an hour to 15/20 dollars, done not by raising our taxes, but by all the work the state will produce. Did you know that in North Dakota McDonald pays 15 dollars the hour?He does not want the Government to control you, be involved in your life, (only those who have lived that in communists/totalitarian countries as Cuba and Venezuela know). I also want that... And like me, he doesn't want to ban the sale of guns to people who do not have a criminal record (I have one at home).

Finally, Tim is not the racist or anti-immigrant that the press, and now some people, has portrayed him to be; his wife, born in Hawaii, is Philippine; one of his sons is married to a Mexican and have a American/Mexican grandchild, another one of his sons has a Puerto Rican girlfriend (someone insulted me 'on twitter when I said this, telling me that P.R. is part of the USA, didn't answer back, when they want to insult people look for "whatever"...)

This is not the United States that I knew, that I lived, that I love. Where is the respect to the First Amendment, freedom of speech? This country, for now, is neither communist nor totalitarian, we all do not have to think alike and/or haven the same points of view and we have the right to express it, but attacking? Insulting? Stopping you from working? (In Feb. I was going to do "The Vagina Monologues" in San Francisco but I left because of the pressure I felt out of all the verbal attacks in the radio station that promotes the play, even saying they were going to burn the theater down if I was in it), and also, the other actresses nor the production have to go through this attack.

Although some might not believe this and might laugh, the communists are growing in the US, and have planted the seed that is making people dislike or hate each other if you don't think alike and follow a certain pattern. Democrats and Republicans did not hate each other, there was respect, it didn't really matter much if you were one or the other, but nowadays, and especially in Hollywood, it's no longer so... attacking you for having you own mind"?... Most of my friends and my partner Fernando are Democrats, good people who don't like communism, control, but, as with those who cross the borders, the bad guys are among them, and they are from the Democrat Party as sean penn, oliver stone, michael moore, etc. (you will never find a communist in the Republican party unless he's infiltrated...) and again, the good ones will pay for the sinners, sadly.

I'm with Tim because my conscience, experience and heart tells me so. I'm not doing anything wrong, I'm not a racist and are not against hard workers and honest undocumented immigrants (today you can't say the word 'illegal', I didn't know and was insulted for that...). I'm still with him because he's also not a racist as well nor against immigrants. But time will have the last word, and I hope I was right...

I'm still the same Maria Conchita, I have not sold myself and never will, didn't get paid a cent or ask for anything in return for doing the video as some have said. I sleep in peace because I believe I'm doing the right thing. Those who know me know, the ones who don't know me? Well, sorry if you are thinking something that I'm not. These photos are of Tim and his family... Blessings.
